MIG Welder – Hyundai HYMIG-200 MIG / MMA ARC Inverter DC Output Welder
The HYMIG-200 is a lightweight and incredibly versatile single phase?MMA MIG welder from Hyundai. The HYMIG-200 is capable of welding mild steel up to 6mm.
Easy To Transport
Weighing only 20kg, this 200 amp MIG welder is easy to carry around thanks to its adjustable harness and lightweight pressed steel case with powder coated finish for extra corrosion resistance. Accessories include electrode holder with 2m cable, earth clamp with 1.5m cable, chipping hammer and wire brush making the HYMIG-200 extremely cost effective.
Stepless Regulator
The HYMIG-200 MIG welder features a stepless regulator for infinite variable control of the welding current with a low current facility for effective welding of thinner materials. The welding (output) current of the HYMIG-200 can be regulated within the range of 50-190 Ampere making it adjustable to suit welding of different materials and thicknesses of steel.
Always check the MIG Welder ?Duty Cycle?
Cheaper, lower quality welders claim to be a certain Amperage output, but can have a very low duty cycle on the output they have claimed. Duty cycle is the amount of time, within a 10 minute period the welder can be used, on a given output. For example, our 200A welder has a duty cycle of 35% when used on 200A output (MIG), and 35% when used on 140A output (MMA/ARC). This means it can be used for three and a half minutes consistently, but then, it must be ?rested? for the remaining six and a half minutes.
Inverter MIG MMA Welder – Lighter And Efficient
The inverter technology used within the Hyundai welders has certain advantages compared to more traditional transformer welders. The inverter type welders are usually lighter, more cost effective and usually require less input power for a comparable output. This makes them more cost effective not only to purchase but also to run.
Thermal Overload Protection
Fitted with thermal overload protection to ensure maximum durability. Suitable for welding steel, stainless steel, copper, nickel, titanium and their alloys.
A Welder For Multiple Materials And Applications
Suitable for fabricators, farmers, home mechanics, mobile technicians and DIY enthusiasts the HYMIG-200 is a good all rounder for welding with an applicable wire size of 0.8mm Flux or 1.0mm Solid Core. The HYMIG-200 features high frequency starts allowing for smooth arc strikes.
Low Service And Maintenance
With low service and maintenance requirements, the HYMIG-200 is incredibly easy to use and maintain and has full Hyundai UK parts back up.

Know your welder:
(MMA) Manual Metal Arc?-?Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMA) or (MMAW) Manual Metal Arc Welding is flux shielded arc welding or informally known as stick welding, is a manual arc welding process that uses a consumable electrode covered with a flux to lay the weld.
(TIG) Tungsten Inert Gas?-?Tungsten Inert Gas Welding (TIG) or (GTAW) Gas Tungsten Arc Welding is an arc welding process that uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to produce the weld.
(MIG) Metal Inert Gas?-?Metal Inert Gas Welding (MIG), (GMAW) Gas Metal Arc Welding or (MAG) Metal Active Gas is a welding process in which an electric arc forms between a consumable wire electrode and the workpiece metal(s), which heats the workpiece metal(s), causing them to melt and join.
